Yoga Retreat: North India – no Yoga Retreats planned for India this year but take a look at   Yoga and Walking in the Himalayas

Lovely homely accommodation,  in the peaceful village of Bir + sightseeing in Delhi + visit to McLeod Ganj (home of the Dalai Lama) + optional excursion to Agra for Taj Mahal.

This is a Yoga and Walking  holiday where you will have the opportunity to enjoy daily Yoga classes early morning and early evening, with plenty of time for walking, resting, nurturing and regaining and balancing your energy, as well as lots of other things including Paragliding! (optional)  There is the opportunity to learn various aspects of Yoga; going deeper into the vast wealth of knowledge of Yoga, with experienced and qualified Yoga Teacher and Trainer of Teachers, including some one-to-one Yoga, and Reike.  This is the perfect location for a peaceful, restoring break from everyday life and is completely suitable for those who prefer not to practice Yoga but want an interesting and varied holiday.

Bir is a tiny village in north india with a Tibetan community and home to several astoundingly beautiful Tibetan monastries. The accommodation is simple and homely and quiet, set amongst tea plantations and surrounded by lovely gardens.  All meals are lovingly home-cooked with many fresh organic ingredients from the garden.

We will also stay in McLeod Ganj the home of the Dalai Lama and visit Dalai Lama Temple.  There will be time for walking, shopping and enjoying the atmosphere of the busy little town.  And of course enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views of the snow-clad  Himalayas.

In Delhi we will have time for some sightseeing and of course shopping and not to be missed optional Day Excursion to Taj Mahal.   TajMahal 15 april 2014
