If you have always wanted to go to India, but never wanted to ‘go it alone’; or  if  your idea of a holiday is more than just sitting on the beach all day or sunning yourself at the hotel pool AND you love Yoga, then you may be interested to know more…  this unique Yoga Holiday in Paradise (Kerala) could be  the perfect way to experience India for the first time.

Kerala, the most beautiful state on the southern tip of India is a major tourist destination in the country. Better known as “The God’s own Country”,  National Geographic’s Traveller magazine names Kerala as one of the “10 paradises on the world”and “50 must see destinations of a lifetime”.

On this unique trip, we’ll take in the sights and culture of this beautiful part of India. Starting in Cochin Fort, you’ll have some time to relax and unwind before we head off on an adventure on a Keralan house boat through the beautiful backwaters. We’ll also visit a tiger reserve, visit an organic spice plantation, see a display of Keralan dance and Martial arts, wash an elephant…relax in an Ayurvedic beach resort…shall I continue…….

If that’s not enough, we’ll also take twice daily  yoga classes – usually at sunset and sunrise. These will be suitable for beginners right through to advanced yoga students. Linda has been teaching for over 25 years and can help develop your practice over the course of the  trip. However, if you don’t want to do yoga – you don’t have to! There are plenty of activities to keep you busy so feel free to bring a friend or partner even if yoga isn’t their thing.

10 nights: Flying in/out Cochin Arrive: October dates to be confirmed

If you want to extend your stay full arrangements can be made and an individual extra itinerary can be arranged for you.

Reviews from previous trips:

I went to Kerala with Linda having never been to India before and the experience was amazing! My husband doesn’t actually like yoga but came anyway and actually ended up joining us for a few classes which was unexpected! All in all the whole trip was great – good food, excellent accommodation and I particularly loved the house boat trip at sunset. Thanks Linda x (Jane – Kerala trip 2013)

  • Hi Linda im interested in the kerala trip, Have been to india before and this would be perfect.
what would be your suggested flights and would you meet at airport ?
    many thanks

    Gail x

    • Hello Gail. Thanks for your enquiry. Flights will depend on where you are coming from and therefore which is the best airport to arrive into India. You could arrive into Trivandrum and then for your return, take short flight from Cochin to Trivandrum for onward flight. Or you could fly to Cochin and then take short flight to Trivandrum or get a flight which arrives into Trivandrum and departs from Cochin. If you need assistance in finding the best flight for you, I will be happy to help. People come from different parts of the world on my holidays; some come from Austrialia – so I just ensure my clients are met at the airport from their flight and transferred to our hotel. We, as a group, meet at the hotel on Day 1 of our Programme. The same applies for return flights. I will ensure that my clients are transferred to the airport their flight and all extra hotel arrangements, internal flights, etc. can be made for you. I hope this answers your question. Linda
